Guys, Go to www.google.com, then type in Black Tigers. You'll see us on top of the list (for now). Nakita ko rin dito that there are reportedly real black tigers, saka there are Black Tiger units (one is identified as a suicide unit of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in Sri Lanka and is considered a terrorist organisation, while the other one is an elite ranger unit of the now-defunct South Vietnamese army). So hindi lang pala tayo hipon hehehe ;D (meron kasing black tiger shrimps eh, nakita ko sa Carrefour noong isang araw) |

Hindi naman. Doon sa welcome remarks ng team, sinabi ko na hindi tayo associated sa suicide units na taga-Sri Lanka. Saka meron din namang Black Tigers na unit ng mga Vietnamese Rangers sa South Vietnam noon eh ('yun nga lang, wala na ang South Vietnamese army noong bumagsak 'yung bansa nila sa North Vietnam noong 1975) ;D |

hi peeps,
sa akin kung gusto ng lahat mag palit ng name, ok na rin sa akin, pero ang opinion ko lang, kilala na tayo as black tigers sa mga different forums. kung tayo mag papalit ng name, baka karamihan mag tanong bakit tayo nag palit at baka isipin din ng iba baka nagkagulo tayo sa pagsasamahan at kaya nag palit tayo ng name ng gruppo.
Another concern, nag pagod din na gawin si kuya tunnel na buksan itong site at i'register tayo as black tigers sa filairsoft, tanungin natin kung hindi ba ma'trabaho kung mag sisimula ulit tayo.
siguro ang major decision dito ay sa nag buo ng gruppo ng black tigers. ngayon kung talaga mag papalit tayo ng nick, suggestion ko po ay mighty warriors.
Pag usapan natin ito bukas during our meeting.

As for me Blacktigers !!! dyan na kasi na base yung BDU natin and also dyan talaga nagsimula ang ating pagsa-samahan, sayang naman kung papalitan natin, since then yan na talaga name ng Team. And kilala na tayo sa name na yan.
HINDI NAMAN TAYO TERORISTA DIBA?
hehehe, wala pa kayong guns nun nakataas na bandera ng BLACKTIGERS ;D

First of all, tulad ng sabi ni Jets, baka magtaka sila kung bakit tayo nagpalit ng pangalan. We'll have to re-introduce ourselves to SACSR and Filairsoft as a new team.
I find the name ok kasi "elite" ang dating. The units with the Tamil Tigers were considered above the rest kasi they were the only ones doing missions that no other units could do. The only negative thing is that the Tamil Black Tigers also engaged in suicide missions. Kaya siguro, pagdating sa mga Sri Lankans, "Black Tigers" are synonymous with terrorism in their country, in the same way as "Abu Sayyaf" or "Sparrow Unit" is synonymous with terrorism in the Philippines.
But note that the name "Black Tigers" was also used by another elite unit, the 44th Vietnamese Rangers when South Vietnam was still existing. The fact that the name was assigned to a Ranger unit only shows that they are a cut above rest of the ordinary soldiers in the Vietnamese army.
We never had a problem with the name until I posted my observations after that Google search, which yielded, among other things, info on the Sri Lankan and Vietnamese "Black Tigers". Pero after we found out, that's when questions were raised.
Be they terrorists or members of a defeated army (and like I said, we are in no way connected to these Tamil Tiger and Vietnamese Ranger units), the name "Black Tigers" was a tag for a group of warriors who were considered "elite", "special" and willing to carry out missions that no other units would dare to take on.
In addition, one main reason why we adopted the "Black Tigers" as our team name is because our tiger stripe BDUs were predominantly black in design. Our BDU patterns may change in the future (some prefer woodland, others may prefer MARPAT or CADPAT, while some, like me, will stick to tiger stripes), pero I think the name should stay.
"Mighty Warriors" is a bit too big. Parang unbeatable ang dating ;D

I hope wala kaming na offend sa inyo if we posted stuff about changing the name of the group ang akin lang eh kung gusto nyo ...kung hindi ok lang naman ganito naman sa forum may mga ideas na riff off may mga post din naman biling bili heheheheh ;D ok Lets GO Black Tigers!!! yihaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
