[glow=red,2,300]25 July 2004 - @ The Steel Mill with team SOE[/glow]
I took these pictures at the Novaliches Steel Mill compound. This is where I played my first airsoft game in Manila (actually, it's in Quezon City). Joined the game with a rented stock AEG.

[glow=red,2,300]27 July 2004 - My first AEGs (automatic electric guns)[/glow]
These were my very first AEGs - a stock Tokyo Marui FA-MAS F1 and an upgraded AK-47. Purchased them online through FAS (Filairsoft). I later sold the FA-MAS before I went back to Switzerland 'coz there's no point in maintaining two AEGs when you're not in Manila most of the time.
The AK-47 is locked away safely in our Las Pinas house.

[glow=red,2,300]28 July 2004 - Tropical Palace - BF Paranaque[/glow]
The next day, I joined a group of players from ASG-NCR at the Tropical Palace gamesite -- an area suitable for both CQB (close quarters battle) and jungle encounters. I managed to score 1 kill, but was hit three times in return.

[glow=red,2,300]31 July 2004 - Operation Night Owl - Nayong Pilipino[/glow]
Stormtrooper, who sold me the upgraded AK-47, invited me to join an overnight bivy on the 31st of July. The event, dubbed as "Operation Night Owl", was held at the Nayong Pilipino premises and involved more than 200 players.
Earlier, I hooked up with a bigger group of ASG-NCR players at Nayon, where I got hit on the left thumb (yep, first blood was drawn) by an upgraded AEG shooting from a distance of less than 10 meters. But before that, I managed to eliminate the opposing team's sniper.

@ the Vigan House, where the players from both sides (yellow and red teams) where given a briefing on the rules of engagement.

I was looking forward to the first game of the evening, but that night, a relative was flying in from Geneva, so I had to leave the place an hour before the game even started. But not without taking some souvenir pictures first...

I was supposed to be on the side of the yellow team. But since I had to go, I had to settle with these pictures ;D

Here's Stephen (Stormtrooper) giving instructions to the yellow team an hour before the game.
