Hey guys, I took some time out to prepare a game scenario for our "Defuse the Bomb" event on 16 June at CEPTA. Let me know what you think. If this scenario's ok with you, I will also need someone to do a rough translation into French so that we could post it on the Alliance website for the other teams to see. Here's a Google thingy that I made in order to give players an idea on the areas to be covered by our scenario. Bases 1 and 2 will be the location for the Blue and Green Teams. Bomb location - Bunker 3 - is where the terrorists (Red Team) will place their bomb. They must then prevent the Blue and Green Teams from getting the bomb. Landing Zone (LZ) 1 - is where back-up elements of the Red Team will launch their mission to prevent either the Blue or Green Teams from getting the bomb back to their base to defuse it. The Main bunker will be the safezone, where eliminated players must go and stay for the duration of the game. Bunker 2 - the small bunker located in the middle of the gamesite.

DEFUSE THE BOMB!(Proposed game scenario) TEAMS:Blue TeamGreen TeamRed Team (terrorist unit) – split into two groups: bunker defenders and hunter group SCORING:Blue/Green Team brings the bomb back to their base (+20 points)Blue/Green Team defuses the bomb in time (+10 points)Blue/Green Team fails to defuse the bomb in time (-10 points)Red Team successfully prevents the bomb from being defused (+10 points)Red Team fails to prevent the bomb from being defused (-10 points)HIT RULES:Every player is a medic Only two lives are allowed, after which eliminated players must go to the safe zone (Bunker 1) GAME TIME:45 minutes OBJECTIVES (FOR BLUE AND GREEN TEAMS):1. Get to the bunker first by overcoming the Red Team defenders and opposing Team. 2. Open the safe by using the three-number combination and get the bomb. 3. Bring the bomb back to the base and defuse it. OBJECTIVES (FOR RED TEAM):1. Defender group must try to keep the Blue and Green Teams from getting the bomb. 2. If the defender group fails and the bomb leaves the premises of Bunker 3, the hunter group must delay the team who got the bomb from bringing it to their base and defusing it. The Blue Team must try to get the bomb from Bunker 3, which is lightly defended by 3-4 elements of the Red Team. They must first overcome the defence and then get the bomb, which is hidden inside a safe. In order to open the safe, the team must break the code using a three-number combination. Once they get the bomb, they must bring it back to their base and defuse it. But they must not forget that they have to battle the Green Team, who also wants to get the bomb. Once the bomb leaves the bunker premises, or during the middle of the game time period, a Red Team reinforcement/hunter group will come in to try and prevent the Blue/Green Team from getting to their respective base and defusing the bomb, which has a delay of 45 minutes. The game is over if the bomb is successfully defused or if detonates.

Thanks! Sige, paki-translate na lang para maintindihan ng mga kasama natin.
For the materials, we will need:
- a box (wood or metal is fine) - an alarm clock - candlesticks or even tubes that we can use as dummy dynamite sticks - a combination lock - blue, green and red arm bands - flags for the blue and green teams
We will also need a whistle to signal the start and end of a game. We also need a reflectorized vest to be used by a game marshall (in case we decide to have one) or a photographer (so that no one accidentally shoots him).
In case we don't find a box, we can substitute a backpack and then use a bicycle combination lock. The players can get the backpack with the "bomb" and bring it back to their base.
I forgot to say that we will also need walkie-talkies. Hirap din pala kapag walang ganun. We need them to give the signal for the Red Team hunter group to seek out the elements of the team who gets the bomb.

Wow! i love that idea. do you think if the blue team for example, gets the bomb, can they rig the wooden chest with a booby trap that will set off when the green team arrives and opens the chest?

Maybe we can try that idea the next time around. For now, the team objective is to get the bomb out of the box and back to their base, where they can defuse it.
Not to mention the fact that they will have to fight it out with the other team and elements of the Red Team's hunter group.
And all these under 45 minutes...or else the bomb blows ;D
