Hi ALL --- Christmas is just around the corner!!! And like every year, we all want to come together as one big, happy family to celebrate together this Yuletide Season with peace and love in our hearts! Please BLOCK your calendar for our Annual Filipino Community Christmas Party Celebration!!!! This is for ALL Filipino and their family and friends!!!! Admission is free!!! Read on to see what's new, and how you can help.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:
* Free Dinner!!! Like the successful "potluck" formula in last year's Christmas celebration, we'll be approaching the various Filipino groups/organizations and generous individuals to contribute food. The aim is to have sufficient food for everyone. This time, however, we'll try to also have available common Christmas native delicacies like "Puto Bumbong", "queso de bola", etc. (UB Lead Contact: Sheila Droze. Mobile# 079 279 6902)
* Christmas Parol/ Lantern Contest !!!! Christmas will be FUN as we showcase our talent and creativity in the art of parole-making. Ground rules will be communicated shortly, and very attractive prizes will be at stake for the winners!!! We encourage everyone to join and be counted!!! (UB Lead Contact: Nena Marco. * Fabulous Christmas Programme !!!! Following the successful programme last year, we'll be asking again the support and collaboration of the various Filipino groups/organizations and individuals to share their God-given talents for a memorable line-up of performances in our Christmas programme. HOW CAN YOU HELP?
* Christmas "Theme" suggestions needed. We are looking for a good theme for this year's annual Filipino Christmas celebration. Please email back your suggestions. Last 2007, our Christmas Celebration theme was "A room at the inn for all!!! (Luke 2:1-20): Integration: Bridging cultures toward an open and multicultural Swiss Society". The UB Cultural Committee will choose from all your suggestions by end of the month.
* Be actively involved! Contact the lead people above on what you (or your organization) can contribute for the potluck, parole contest and the programme. Should you have any suggestion or new ideas that will make our Christmas celebration a truly community-unifying experience, please let us know.
